Description: This par-4 is visually intimidating because of the large fairway bunker and the angle you might have to take off the tee. Plus, the elevated green is small, with a runoff area back left that catches a lot of approach shots. Four bunkers near the green gobble up shots that are off target or short.
How to Play It:Hit your tee shot either short of the fairway bunker or carry the front right portion of the bunker. The second shot is slightly uphill and correct club selection is very important if you want to hit this green. Bunkers surround this green on the left and right sides. Avoid the bunker 20 yards short of the green at all cost. Any shot long will end up in a grass runoff area and test your short game. One of the toughest holes on the course for players of all skill levels. | |
