Description:Yardage-wise, long hitters can reach this par-5 in two shots. But if you try that, plenty of trouble awaits, starting with a pond at the left front of the green and continuing on to deep bunkers short and behind. The pond also comes into play for shorter hitters with their second shot, so you must be sure to keep the shot on the right side of the fairway. A pin placement on the shallow, left side of the green is treacherous. Most players will have a wedge of some sort into the green for their third shot.
How to Play It:Hit the fairway with your tee shot using driver and then the decisions await you. If you go for this green in two shots, play to the right side of the green to take the water out of play. The best play is to hit your second shot to the right side of the fairway and improve your angle to the green. Avoid the deep bunker behind the green. The green is shallow front to back but is very wide left to right. |  |
